There is a rare weather thing going on here next Tuesday and I am hoping for some good dramatic photos.

50- 60 mph winds and 23 ft. seas. Nice waterspout conditions, too.

Body surfing on the reef, anyone? Maybe a good time to test the trampolines?

I double-dawg dare ya !!

... I was out last oct. after a hurricane blew through. 25-30 knots constant with gusts to who-knows-what.

I'll be honest - there were quite a few moments where I was wondering WTF am I doing out here ?!?!?!?!

It ended when my rudder pin decided it didn't want to play that game anymore -- had to limp back to the launch (luckily dead down wind) with about 95% of the sail reefed and using the paddle as a rudder.
