Hi Experts! I need to know if it is OK to add a 5" (curved) inspection port centered between the daggerboard trunk and rear crossbar. I found postings stating it's OK behind the rear crossbar, but nothing mentioning in front of it.

Just that you would be sitting on it at times. That can crack the port or the surrounding area due to the hole.

There also is a big foam block in that area, so you aren't going to get much room to look around in there.
