So, after 20 years of sailing in salt water with wings (but without the riveted wing anchor plates), the rear crossbar on my boat has developed a sizeable crack and needs to be replaced.

Assuming they come out of the extrusion cleanly, is there any reason not to just reuse my old castings, or do I need to drop the $500 on new castings as well?
