I just got a new mainsheet made up at a local rigging shop when my old one shredded, it's 8mm FSR (40') with a 4mm (12') taper and then 2 4mm 2' tails for the traveler whips. It wasnt cheap but going from an old fuzzy 10mm sheet, it literally feels like the effort to sheet has dropped 50%, it's a huge improvement and I'd totally recommend it to anyone running an older, untapered line. My blocks are 8-1 btw.
