I have a Hobie Cat that has been abandoned in my mother’s garage in Chicago for 20 years. There is also a trailer that is in her driveway that has been vandalized (lights broken and one wheel is missing. If anyone would like to take it away it is yours.

Dang I'm so jealous. I almost went to pick it up but it didn't sound like it was in very good condition. Looks like it is in pretty good shape. Lets meet up in the spring and do some sailing!

I pull this '81 boat in my heated garage last week and detailed it and I am very happy with the out come. I like the smell of wax.... :D
I will post some photo later. I can't believe how good the hulls turned out by wet sanding and using a buffer on it.
A little elbow grease goes a long way.... :)
I do need a, better tramp, boom, main sheet setup and trailer for it.If anyone can help me with that let me know.
I also found that this 16 fits on my other 16 trailer dismantled and tucked between the hulls of my other boat so I might get some cradles and leave both 16's on one trailer for long vacation.....
Again my daughter wants to know "How many sailboats do we really need?"

Can someone help me with that question?
