I've now acquired two Outbacks, after playing with mine, my better, kinder half admitted that playing around on a kayak is fun, relaxing, and just the thing WE need to keep active. And she, fortunately, gratefully and gracefully accepted an Outback as an anniversary present.
After a number of outings on our local bass lake, I've decided that I need the stability of outriggers. The goal is to get out onto the Pacific and big bays. Following the process Apalach provided (many thanks).
His description of extra stability to turn around an access the behind the seat storage is right on.
And I found the larger 6" x 14" pot floats available from Go2Marine.com in orange, to match the Outbacks (safety orange chosen to give us a chance with the motor craft).

MisterT,
Congrats on the two OBs and getting your kinder half involved. But even more fun is in the offing when you get your dual sail kits. Sailing is a real blast, and is where the outriggers really come into their own, IMHO! Keep us posted.
