Mickeymouse: That 3 day trip. Hope you pop this on the forum with GPS coordinates. I am looking for something like this. Weathet look bad for a 3 day trip :(

Let me know next trip you guys are doing, would love to tag along.

Paul - you're always welcome to come on our trips. :D
The weather is going to be excellent here on Mon - Wed. :D
Lasr year we went from the Port of Sale all the way to Lakes Entrance. We all want to do it again but for various reasons, the paln for this trip is to depart Paynesville (yacht club) Mon am and head up to Loch Sport (or Storm Point) - or possibly go as far as Plover Point.
Our plans are still fluid at this stage, as we are getting our heads together later today to firm up - also to discuss the BDO at Huskisson.

I must admit we often do these trips without posting anything on the forums - which is remiss of us. (Some of the guys are not too keen on computers period - whilst others are "challenged" by them)

Gee Mickey, if you blokes are coming up to JB, I'm going to make every effort to come down. Be great to catch up again and also meet up with your Mexican mates  Hope they are Swan supporters

Slaughter - hope you can make it. Yes it would be good to catch up again and introduce you to my local mates - a very interesting bunch of blokes ( & scheilas). No Swan supporters I can think of :P
Wife found that very funny! She supports the Crows :o

Might have to rethink April and make it Feb. I'll see what I can do over the next week.

No Paul the weather is shaping up to be three beautiful days with Tuesday the hottest around 30+.

Mickey told me of this 'Hobie Big Day Out' today and though I am off to New Zealand just a few days later, if Slaughter can change his plans, so can I. See you there Slaughter...Pirate

Slaughter & Cows
We're all booked in and staying at the park SkyMax recommended so highly here
viewtopic.php?f=70&t=38072
Some of the gang are bringing their caravans.
Pirate & I are teaming up in my TI and have booked a cabin.
We could accommodate both of you in our Bushmans Cabin. If you're interested let us know.
The beauty of staying here is that you can launch straight into the river and cruise down to the yacht club for the BDO. No need to trailer/rooftop etc :)
They offer a courtesy van to RSL etc and I reckon we'll have a rare ol time!!!

Right, just registered on the Hobie Website and sent a booking request to the JB Caravan Park. What nights are others staying there?
I've submitted a booking for the Saturday night but I'm happy to add the Sunday night if there are others still going to be there.

Thanks for that Mickey. I'll call them tomorrow and add Sunday night. Looking forward to this. Pretty sure trying to get there Friday won't work. Work will find something to do me over. I'll get down there early Saturday morning. Hopefully less traffic too.
