i had originally bought the TI way before it came out and was the first in annapolis to have one appreantly... i live on a beachy area and used the heavy duty cart to transport it. i am not very big but by the end of the summer had some huge muscles from dragging that thing by myself up and down a pretty steep sandy beach. i also left it on the cart for the first month and it ended up putting a big crease in the kayak.
i had to return it cuz it almost drowned my wife and i, but fast forward 2 years and i am gonna be picking up a 2012 1 march yeah!!! so i ordered the dolly this time and think it may make things a hell of a lot easier to manage. i really want something with hobie cat cart ease which i think the dolly should offer to drag it about 25 feet (about 8 feet of elevation with a hump in the middle) down to the beach. fortunately i can leave my cart/dolly on the beach without fear of hooligans making off with it, but my only wish now is that i can somehow leave the TI on the dolly by somehow supporting it at another point somewhere or that it is easy enough to get the dolly out from underneath it and then back again, but something about the weight of it and my short arms tells me that this second option is not gonna be so easy.
what is the best way to keep this thing stored on the dolly and not risk another creased TI??? thanks, and i look forward to being back in the TI crew in about 8 more weeks
