my full time job and 1920's house are in the way. now, after those excuses, I have all the bonding fiberglass and construction materials and tools sooo.. hopefully by the end of summer. The plan is to invert the sail crabclaw style or use the Proa rig. I will have to figure it out as I go. The internet has lots of advice on construction and design. If the hobie mast cant be adapted I might resort to twin windsurfing sails and masts, but i want to use all of the Hobie parts in adapted forms. not to go off topic, but the proa page at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/proa_file/ is a pretty good sailing site. It seems both groups love sailing at speed and hiking out. cheers.
