Ive had this harness for a few years and never used it cause it was missing a part. Summer is coming and I want to use it more cause its really easy to put on and store in a port hole.
Can anyone tell me what its missing?

How does the strap that goes under your legs hold on to the buckle?
Thank you for your time.

The original piece that was missing is a short length of 3/8" fiberglass rod. You could use a piece of a wooden dowel, or a piece cut out of an old rudder pin (aluminum).

Insert the strap through the bottom slot in the hook, then the rod through the appropriate slot in the strap (adjusting for size). Put a turn of duct tape around it to make sure the rod doesn't go anywhere.
