Spent Sunday afternoon with my son working on his Hobie 16 project boat. we started by taking the trailer apart. I am going over the whole boat and trailer piece by piece because that is what this great timeless boat deserves and this boat and a 19 year old will have some great times Strange how this Hobie will be older than the Captain.
I had forgot how much I had missed working on a Hobie 16.
Any work done on my Hobie 21SE is hard big and or heavy.
Can not wait to borrow the kids 16 and hit some big surf
Former Hobie Admiral Gary

Will send pictures of first sail

That is awesome. It is great to see them interested in the same things you are. I have 3 teenagers, well 21B, 18G, 16B. The two Boys show no interest, but my daughter holds real promise. Hopefully they will see her having fun and try it. My youngest son still has a chance to get into it.

My 16B crewed for me last year and has shown some interest, but would probably show far more if there were more 16, 17, and 18G's involved. Of course that might get the the 18G's 43F PO'd :D
