Hi Everyone,

I have been looking at getting the tandem kayaks, Outfitter or Tandem Mirage as a natural extension to my tandem cycling with my wife and desire to get into this sport of kayak fishing (she doesn't fish, so I'm solo in this Outfitter). I'm debating the plus and minus of each model. I'm short for my weight at 5'5" and 190 lbs :P. I'm primarily in Huntington Harbor, Alamitos Bay, rarely freshwater. I'm concerned about working either model as a solo fishing kayaker (getting to and from the fishing spots). I recently looked at the new accessories catalog and I'm stoked about the Sidekick AMA kit; where would you attach the kit on either tandem kayak? Thanks in advance.

The SideKick would be attached just behind the aft seat of either model. Using solo, you should load gear or ballast weight up forward for balance fore and aft. Otherwise the aft will be too low and the bow high.
