Since HBars are on backorder. Does anybody know where to place a fishfinder on the front accessory boards so it will not interfere with HBar when it finally comes in?

I placed mine on the bar. It was interfering with Hbar. However, if you have the madfroggear mod boards, you would have adequate room.

If you use a RAM mount, you can position the mount either in-between the H-Bar uprights, or just aft of the rear upright. The RAM will allow you to swing the FF out and away from the bar itself.

I mounted my H bar based on using the original mount for the side board. From the photo I am posting, you can see the front inside bolt is the original for the side board. I used a longer bolt is all. This put the H-bar forward and gives me maximum standing area. The rearward H-bar mount is then far enough forward that my fish finder can mount behind it and still pivot enough to fold down when I am traveling.

I am using the Mad Frog side boards, but the hole placement will fit on the stock boards too.

You will need to remove the rod tubes to mount the mad frogs. Then, in order to reinstall all four screws for the rod tubes, you'll need to drill a slant hole for a screw driver blade to get in there for that last screw. Look close at my photos and you will see a hole. It isn't big, I used a smaller bladed screw driver to get in there.

I did use the original mounting holes. When you hold the original side board up to a mad frog board, they are the same hole pattern.
