Need to make some covers for the daggers on an '02 Tiger. Could someone kindly provide some rough dimensions please? Daggers are not in my possession at the moment as they are getting filled/faired from some previous mistreatment.

Your Hobie dealer offers a really slick cover for the Tiger daggerboards that is padded and has 2 compartments - you can view it on page 33 of the sailing accessories catalog. ( link: http://www.hobiecat.com/support/catalog-request/ )

Retail is $66.99 - not sure how much it would cost to make your own or how much time you'd spend... just thought I'd give you an option.

Jeff,

I have a Tiger DB cover that you can use for a pattern. Call or reply.

Thanks (both JB's)

Boat isn't going to travel this summer, so I think we'll keep the boards under a cover on the tramp - at least for now.

After considering the material cost and labor investment of doing it myself, the factory covers look pretty appealing.

Can someone confirm the factory chord (distance from leading to trailing edge) of the dagger. I believe its approximately 260mm. I've fared the boards away from the boat (an hour away) and just realized I might have created an issue :o . If its 260, then we're good. Otherwise I've got some sanding to do.
