New TI, steering nobs, water too cold & store flat

Hi,

Just took delivery of 2012 Tandem island. A few questions. Was it supposed to come with little knobs that screw into the steering handles? Mine seem to be MIA.

Also my dealer said that storing it face up on the floor would be fine. I'm currently storing it this way, inside on a carpet. It will be like that for a few weeks is this ok.

Oh, and living in the north the water, is still like liquid ice. Gotta wait a few weeks even to test it out.

Advice would be great.

Unless you ordered them extra, the knobs don't come with a stock TI.

Hobie recommends storing upside down or on it's side, but the TI bottom is mostly flat and slightly padded flat on a rug should be fine (IMO).
