Thanks for the wonderful pictures. Quick question. You mention the center is not attached to the wood. Are the two ends attached to the boards? If so, how?

Hink he uses L brackets on each End attached with bolts via holes drilled in the pvc and screwed into the boards

I use "L" brackets on the ends of the rack where the PVC is attached. The small wood bridge in the middle is not attached to anything. The PVC tubes just rest on it to provide additional support that way.
