Is the rod that links both rudders suppossed to be bent in the middle ? Mine has a slight bent right in the middle were the tiller pivot is.

No. It's supposed to be straight.

Not uncommon for it to be bent, though. As long as it's not too severe, it's not a big deal as long as the rudders are aligned properly (a bend makes it shorter, so the rudders will be further apart at the trailing edges).
