I am about to purchase a 2006 wave. From what I hear there has been an improvement on the rudders and a slightly different sail on the 2006. Does anyone know of any improvements the 2007 will have over the 2006? Just curious. Thanks

Yes the rudder system changed last year to the EZ Loc system. No changes to the sail. No chnages for 2007.

I purchased a 2006 Wave earlier this summer (late May). I read some negative remarks concerning the new rudder system so I was concerned about the performance.

But now that I have sailed the new system, I must admit that Hobie did a nice job simplifying the rudder system. There are less parts associated with the rudders (at least it appears so to me) and it operates simply and effciently. I'm pleased with the performance of the new rudder system.
