What are these parts used for and in details for installation if possible please?

These parts came inside the plastic bag (2012 TI parts package) which also included the "scupper plug" and the breakaway "Shear Bolt and Nut". Thanks.

they go on the pedals (down near the gap where the water would splash up when seated properly and in use) and stop water from splashing up into your nutz.

Many dealers are reluctant to fit these onto Miragedrives as they can make it a bit harder for a newcomer to these drives to fit the drive in the housing without misalignment. Hence they are often supplied loose like that...

Thanks for the information. I see how it works now.

Have any of you put these on your mirage drives already? Do they work well enough or shall I just avoid using them?

Use em. Water still gets in. Splash and drag are reduced slightly.

Thanks and I will use them. Putting them on one of my mirages drives tomorrow and going out sailing. Wishing I was sailing in Hawaii though :)
