Hello - New to the site. New to sailing. I am looking for someone who can give a friend and I some basic lessions on a hobie 16. I have the boat. Not looking into racing or anything like that, just want to feel comfortable with my ability to navigate and get back to shore :) I am located in Greenville, SC. If you know of any good leads please let me know. I have a trailer and am willing to travel within a couple of hours or to the SC/NC coast.

Thanks

Suggest you contact the nearest Hobie dealer. Some of them offer lessons. If they don't, they can point you to a hobie fleet in your area. Most fleets don't give lessons but they may have thoughts for you.

Wish you where down here in charleston. We have 3-4 boats out in in the harbor by Ft. Moultrie. If you ever make it down here I'm sure you can learn from someone.

Hey plan a vacation to Puerto Rico, enjoy our warm waters, and I`ll give you free beginners lessons on our 16, then, take a couple of lesson with our very own Champ Quique Figueroa or his Bussiness partner, also a Champ. ( Those are paying, but at a very fair rate )
My fees; A hand shake, a smile, a cold beer, and a promisse you will be a good friend forever.
