Can it be done - Yes.
Is there good case for "mothershipping"?, (except an emergency)? - Not really.
I've picked up distressed tandem kayakers from time to time (tourists
), and towed them alongside my windward Ama for a mile or less. Having them jump on your tramp and grab hold of their yak works best, but you can leave them in theirs. We made headway upwind too, but it helped for me to pedal lightly.
If you are going to tow all the time, they do make 50' bungied towropes for watertoys that may work well. Strapping a REVO to the Akas would almost be a better idea.
According to Hobie, your mirage drive can out-tow 2 olympic padders in a tandem, so anyone with a REVO should really be able to hold their own without your help.
