I have placed an order for a PA 12 because I like the latest and greatest. Mainly because it helps on Resale. I have owned the AI an OB and the Revolution. All of which were sold when I needed the money, or had no where to store them.
I strongly suspect I will end up with a yet to be released PA 14 with all the new fruit, but I will buy the PA 12 now and swap it when the 14's become available.
So I am wondering if I can set up a trailer now for the 14 but put the 12 on it now.
I see that the PA 12 is 50 mil narrower than the 14 ..... but just maybe the Hobie Cradles will be interchangeable between the 12 and 14. Would anyone care to comment?

Jbernier or anyone in the know,
I was just curious to know if you can tell us wether or not the cradle spacing (bow to stern) will be the same. The PA 14' requires +- 67"... it would seem that the 12 would require the spacing to be closer. For those folks like wetroots, who are planning a future switch, knowing this ahead of time might save some headaches, allowing them to set up their trailer now rather than retrofitting later.

Thanks much,

GR8 Laker

They work at current spacing - at this time we haven't build an all new cradle and I'm not sure if we have plans to or not yet.
Again, the PA 12 isn't even out yet - give these things time, everyone here is working to get the new model out the door and into the public. Accessories will be figured out along the way - all I can say is that we have used the cradles on it and they work fine - are they an exact match? (no) but do they work fine? (yes)

Hi

I have ordered a PA12, is there any plans for PA12 cradles or should I go ahead and get the current PA cradles?

Thanks

The Pro Angler cradle that is currently offered is for both models - no plans as of right now to make a custom cradle for the PA 12 as the current one works fine.
