I am putting a H21SE back together and seem to be missing a couple of key pieces. I have tried the Hobie store and Murray's but neither seem to have the following parts. Wondering if anyone has spares or ideas.

I need the little metal yoke that is used to screw the two springs to the Center board. No idea where it went.

At the bottom of the mast the pulley and cleat that holds the main halyard; I am missing one to the pulley wheels. It looks like a harken, do they sell bits for old Hobie stuff?

Bringing the dead back to life!!
Cheers,
Roger

i burned that pulley up last year and took a replacement pulley and shakled it to crossbar at base of mast and it seems to work fine. Quick and easy fix verses driling out rivets and finding repacement. Good luck it is a great boat.

You're talking about the block and cleat for the main halyard that is used when hauling up the main right?

I had the same block with cleat that also broke. The block was held to the mast with 2 small L brackets attached in the mast track. To fix it I spread the L brackets out a little bit and used the pin that came with this to attach to the L brackets. Works great! If you need some pics on how it looks now I can post one up for you.

I think that may be the way to go. replacing some parts and using some of what I have now.
Anyone have thoughts on the metal piece the hold the centerboard springs to the centerboard? I could make one out of steel easy enough but it would rust in a heart beat. I don't think I could make one out of stainless. I couldn't get it bent.
Thoughts??

Why not aluminum? Can get aluminum bars and rod from home depot or lowes.

You don't need to have a cam on that block because the main halyard "ring" will drop into a hook once the main is raised. All you need is a block.

:D

I like the aluminum idea. I can get a block and machine it. It will be easier to tap as well.
Cheers!

Use 6061-t6 or 7075-t , if ya go with aluminum ; you probably won't find that
at Home Depot or Lowe's.
Aircraft spruce or speedymetals.com has it though.
The Cheap stuff Won't do, on a boat like this !!
