Need help with trapeze rig. Never used one, have new assembly pieces but no instructions HOW to put it all together! Found illus. how to attach to tang, but the rest of the pieces are a mystery! Can't find any diagrams related to rigging trapeze on Getaway. THANKS. MB

Thanks, Matt for your reply. I did find this diagram, pretty helpful except for a couple of questions: what to do with the white plastic washers? and, do you recommend specific knots when tying ropes to dogbone etc.?

One more concern: because we store the boat in the off season, I have never permanently attached bottom part of mast to top. Will this be a problem when using the trapeze?

Finally, exactly where should the shock cord go through the lacing under the trampoline?

The washers rest between the rope lock and the wire thimble.

Halyard knot (or bowline) at the dog bones. Half hitches at the shock cord.

The mast should be glued. The movement of the CompTip in the extrusion will be more pronounced when using the Trapeze system. This will chip and damage the CompTip at the connection point.

Automotive Bondo works well. Any thickened epoxy would work.
