Hi
Where can I get a lanyard cable for the Mirage Drive like the one in Matt's photo?

That looks like a kill switch lanyard like you find on PWC's and some bass boats.

I have been making my various leashes from sections of phone cord and crimp connections, they work great.

Hey Havoc,
Here are a couple of my earlier posts about to make your own lanyards and leashes. I use these not only on my Mirage Drive, but also on my rods, knife, pliers, and everything else that I don't want to contribute to the sea gods.

Those in Matt’s pic look just like mine that I made from old cell phone cords. Get some clips from West Marine or Lowes, some sleeves or ferrules from the same sources and you are good to go. I also have made some drive leashes from ordinary parachute cord secured to clips with ferrules also.

Here are some links on how to go about making your own:

1. Using nylon parachute cord

2. Using old cell phone cords:

In place.

Have fun.
