I will be doing some night fishing. A new friend and long time striper fisherman suggested some red LED's for nightfishing to see when you need to. He's away on vacation with the family, but I'd like to get and install some lights this week for my Oasis which I solo in more often than not.

Does anyone have that set up, and if so what brand lights do you feel works well? I'm getting the large 12V battery kit for my FF, and it will have plenty of long lasting battery life.

Thanks in advance.

I have two red leds in my pa 14. Installed them on the sides under each mounting board. They work great. $20 a piece each on has 4 leds and I think they came from west marine.

Thanks for the response. Are these the one's you got? Do they have a switch? If not, how do you turn them on/off?

While you're at it, pick up an Eveready headlamp. The first click on the switch gives you a bright red light that won't destroy your night vision like a white one will.

The second click gives you a bright white flood, the next gives you a white spot and the next gives you both flood and spot. Finally, the next click is off. Love mine.

Last week, at Qingshan Lake, I used the light with green light to attract fish. The effect was superb. Hahaha, I don't know what it was used to attract fish, but there are many..https://www.ledsmaster.com/Power-LED-Fish-Lamp.html
