VANTAGE SEAT PROBLEMS PLEASE HELP

HELLO this is my first time on Hobie forums. I have a question and i was hoping that somebody here can help me know what I should do.

I just bought a new Hobie Pro Angler 12 in June and my Vantage Seat is begining to tear on the side I'm worried that its slowly going to begin to tear all the way and plus its a new boat it souldn't be tearing to begin with. I take a lot of care of this boat so im suprised that its tearing.
The seat was kind of defective when I bought it but i didn't pay to much attention to it the screw on the side would rub and scratch and tear at the soft part of the rotating barrel armrest piece.

Can anybody please tell me how to get a warranty claim or if there is a number that i have to call .

All warranty is handled by your dealer.

There is a modification that we have done to strengthen that area. It is a known issue, so no problem. Contact your dealer to file a warranty claim.
