Playing Pit Crew on a holiday weekend but still got fish

It has happened to some of you I am sure........

A blow out enroute to a scheduled event of some form, whether it was a doctor's appointment, dinner, family gathering, or just driving.......

Over the course of the last 10 years, I have literally put over half a million miles on my vehicles with my various escapades with dog shows anywhere and everywhere east of the Mississippi and a couple stints in Kansas City and Wichita for good measure, countless field training trips to PA and MD with my dogs......

......and finally this past weekend, I exprience my first blowout, and I mean blowout!! The entire sidewall was literally gone from where the pop occurred.

Well that didn't rain on my parade, you see I still managed to change the tire, get cleaned up and make it to the launch for our planned family outing that day.

That didn't stop us from having fun and catching some fish.

Looks like a fun trip - and nice pictures! Puppy drum are very fun to catch, love pulling them outta the sticks! We do plenty of that here in the everglades national park. Many of the creeks and such in the mainland are only accessible by a 'yak!
