Well its official the Jersey Paddler in Brick, NJ and I are starting up the Hobie Island Club in our area. I am very excited to meet other AI owners

I hope the club will bring together a group that can learn together and plan some fantastic trips.

My Tandem Island is ordered and will probably arrive mid-October. Trailer already arrived, but is not assembled or registered yet. Parts are on order for the hitch. Baby steps. Our TI will be based in Ocean City.

Looks like you are a big time fisherman. Me and my wife, not so much. Love to sail, though. And we do like to EAT fish.

I will teach you how to troll while you are sailing. Then you aren't fishing, you are catching - hahahah

i love the ocean city area. I goto longport bridge all the time. I was just there on Friday. I do not have to fish, but love to sail as much as I can

sound like you will be ready to go in a few months

look forward to meeting you

My new trailer is sitting at Bay Cats in Ocean City and I got the paperwork in the mail today. Off to DMV Friday to register the trailer. No word from Hobie on the shipping of the boat yet.

Doug BTW its not called fishing when you are on the Hobie Adventure Island - its called "Catchin"

So if you like fish you will like Catchin on the Adventure Island

I find now I do a lot of trolling, thats basically when you drag fishing lure behind you, then when I hook up I am now catching. Its very hard to have a bad day on the water because if I am not Catchin then I am sailing.

LOL - see you on the water
