Ditto. With double SS razor blades, I don't see how the Dakine knife would work any less effectively than any of the other kitesurfing knives I have seen (Especially kite lines. It'll rip through that no problem).

I have used it to cut my 3/8 (9mm) Hobie 18 mainsheet. Anything bigger than that would be a stretch. The Dakine blade is really just a secondary knife for me. If I have to use it there's likely something very wrong.

i have it sewed on the strap on my life jacket just in case. i also have have a folding knife
