During a strong wind, our Wave porpoised. One of the bridal eyestraps came loose on one end of it, snapped a screw, and the brass fitting came out with the screw. Fortunately the mast stayed upright. We are wondering how best to repair the situation.

That could be a tough one. I have thought about what I would do if that happened to mine as there is a small crack near one of the brass inserts.
My idea would not be pretty...but it would possibly keep my old 97 wave on the water. I will let some others chime in before I give you the gruesome details of my proposed fix!
