I used this for my mount, found the mono pod on Amazon for $9.99 free shipping

you can use this in a hobie rod holder extension tube but to add flexibility at the bottom and top i added

It looks like you also have some sort of light/flashlight setup that mounts to the same camera mount. Do you have any specifics on where to get one? Thanks!

The best mounts by far for video from a kayak ate the Yakattack ones. There are a few sorts which I have found to be extremely useful and solid. There is one in the photo below on the right and one at the back left.
