Looking for information on the proper way to store my PA12 in my garage from the ceiling. I have a boat winch that I would mount to the wall to hoist the boat up and down. My question is can you strap the boat in (2) areas and hoist or do you need to support the entire length of the boat and then hoist. I am concerned about deforming the shape of the boat. Any suggestions/comments are appreciated.

I bought the kit from Bass Pro Shops and didn't have much success when I used the ceiling hoists. The two straps kept slipping off the hull. Now, I turn it over, gunwale side down and use a pair or saw horses.

I have thought about that option but don't really have the floor space to dedicate to the boat. Any input if the straps would deform the hull?

Your owner manual also tells you where you should support your boat and how.

Here's my setup using a lift in my garage. I'm stil really happy with this rig.
