Just in case I'm missing something - I tried installing the tramps on my new Tandem Island. No way I can see to get them tight. With the buckles run up all the way, there is still a good couple inches of sag in the tramps. Not tight at all. Barely snug, if that.

Am I missing something?

They are TI tramps?
AI tramps won't tighten enough on the TI.

I did use AI tramps on the TI when I first got it.
I had some success with pvc pipes as spacers but as the weather warmed they would eventually slip when the tramps stretched.
Pool noodle worked OK:

Apparently the TI tramps will fit both, if it's a little shorter then the straps could be lengthened to work on the AI. But not the other way around, I guess. You can only take up so much slack. Thanks.
