Those are super nice SRM! Will you be producing enough to offer for sale?
Thanks. Not sure about selling them at this point. There are some issues. First, I would have some concerns about the liability of selling a piece of standing rigging equipment. If there was a failure of any type, whether it was caused by this part or not, I don't want to be sued. Also, there is an issue with the twist toggle that goes between the anchor pin and the shroud adjuster. The width of the toggles vary and some are too narrow to fit on this pin. The best solution is likely to just remove the toggle all together, use a ten hole shroud adjuster, and make sure the anchor pin is oriented properly. Also the diameter of the hole in the hull needs to be increased very slightly to allow the larger diameter pin to fit. Neither of these are major issues, but you would need to know that the installation may not be as simple as unbolt the old pin and bolt on the new on.
Last is the issue of cost. Depending on volume, there is the possibility that I would have to sell these for considerably more than what the Hobie pins go for. If there was enough interest it may be feasible, but the cost of these two pins was pretty high.
If you're interested, you can contact me privately and maybe we can work something out.
