It is a waterproof HD camera setup to take a still picture every minute. We had the kite up for about 20 mins while we had lunch. Quite a few reasonable shots but we didn't bother with the underwater shots when the kite went down. No big gray shapes (thank goodnes) to make the underwater photo interesting.
That's probably a good thing about the case or you may slaughter the competition.

that manatee shot is amazing. as i kid i remember them coming up to our boat when we were fishing in and out of mangrove spots outside the everglades. glad to see there are some places you can still see them left in the wild.

Ha yes that is all too true. I am getting my new GoPro Hero3 set up on a pole for underwater shots for the next encounter I have with a big grey thing.
I hope to be out of the water this time with the camera on a pole, rather than face to face underwater.

It is hard to compose a nice portrait shot when backing up the ladder of a dive boat.

Now that is a sizeable shark going by the dorsal fin. I have seen one a little larger than this when I was fishing in my 12' dinghy back in the 70's. It just kept circling my boat and when it came alongside it would roll on its side to get a look at me.
