need your opinion I found a small dent in the side of the hobie 16 mast it is about 1/8 ' deep and could be covered by a silver dollar The dent is about 6' from the mast base This is not a comp tip This is my son's boat and I do not have a clue what did this and probably do not want to know. Other than this it is ocean ready
Time to panic or no big?

Probably OK in everything but the biggest breeze. I'd be real watchful of the mast counter rotating. That's hard on the mast to begin with.
