we picked up our new adventures on thursday & decided to brave the low 40 temps, rain & 20mph+ winds today with my fellow hobie team member scott thorson. we went to look for some gator trout in a deep canal that usually has a few fat bottom girls to dance with but they eluded us today. scott ended up with a tx slam ... trout, redfish & flounder but his trout had sea lice infestation that had eaten most of the tail on a 18" trout...pretty gross looking so he released it. i ended up with 3 flounder ... 2-18's & 1 - 15"
all fish were caught on soft plastics bouncing on bottom
