How is that lake for sailing? Does it have about ramp next to a sandy beach? Is it big enought for long tacks or have decent wind?

It varies in water level greatly. At full pool it is roomy around the point and on towards the dam where it is windy almost every day at around 11 am. Sandy beaches are nearly non existent. Check here for rules or questions:
