I have an evolve kit.
I have installed it in my Revo on the rudder mount system - sensible given the size of the boat as i want to use it with the mirage.

I have a second wiring kit and have installed all the parts in our Ti for a Mirage mount.
Keeping changing the mounting method of the motor from rudder to drive mount is not easy and probably not a good idea as you have to use thread lock and nylock nuts which only work once.

I want to buy a second motor unit only. I dont need a full kit obviously.
So far I have drawn a blank on this

can you point me in the right direction to get one please.

thanks in advance

Set up for drive well use... no battery, cables, rudder fittings.

Rough guess based on USD / Pricing effective today 1-18-2013. These are the pricey parts involved.

72022030 EVOLVE v2 MOTOR KIT - K 2,059.00
(Less the following)
72022031 EVLOVE v2 CABLE KIT (2ND HULL) 175.00
72022131 EVOLVE v2 BATTERY 720.00
72022132 EVOLVE v2 - BATTERY CHARGER 72.00

$1,092.00

Maybe a bit less. If you really are interested, Contact your dealer and I can set that up. Will require a new sku to remove the other un-needed parts.

Matt

Thanks for sorting out the order it is winging its way to me as we speak.

One more question.

I note that the manual says to store the battery half charged. I quite often charge up for a trip out and then find it does not go ahead.

Is this doing my battery any harm and is there anything i should do about it?

Cc

Here is their recommendation direct from the Torqeedo site:

Quote:
Lithium battery life expectancy: The life of a lithium battery is barely affected by charging cycles. It has no memory effect. Therefore, the battery can be fully recharged after every trip, regardless of the charge status shown on the display. Generally, a loss of capacity of 4% per year can be expected. Ageing is accelerated if the battery is exposed to high temperatures for long periods while fully charged.

So, maybe stick the motor in fresh water and run it down a bit, but heat seems to be the issue there.
