This President's Day weekend weekend, Friday 2/15/2013 through Monday 2/18/2013, several sailors are planning a sailing trip on the Indian River near Jensen Beach. There are several boat ramps and hotel options on/near the river, including the Hutchinson Island Marriot and the River Palm Cottages. All sailors are invited to sail with us.

Anybody else planning a sailing vacation this holiday weekend?

We'll be staying at the River Palm Cottages in Jensen Beach. For anyone joining us for just one day, there is a public boat ramp and parking lot right next door on the south side of the property. Each day, we plan to sail, fish and visit different parks & playgrounds accessible by water. Each morning, we launch the boat into the Indian River over the sand in front of our cottage. Each night, we anchor the boat up onto the sand in front of our cottage. Very convenient.

Marc, sounds like fun, but I am doing my FLM-Chok trip starting the next day. I will be testing my new hakas & front hatch seal on this 7-day trip. Hope your new hakas are working great.

They worked great during our sail last week in Biscayne Bay. The boat sailed very fast and smooth through the small chop.

My children love how they look and are excited to "break them in" on this trip. I just hope they don't take the term literally.

Sounds great Marc. I will come up for a day sail at least one day. Thanks.
