I would really recommend this upgrade. I did this with my '72 Hobie and the difference is so appreciated as I don't need to have my crew or myself go up on the leeward side to adjust the traveler. The cleats are also a lot better as they unsnap by flicking up instead of down as they did on my original travelers.
