Ouch. Black flies. Brings back my memories of the arctic circle.

They don't taste too bad though. :x

My wife and I watched your video this morning and loved it. Beautiful job and thanks for taking the time to put it together.

How I would love to take my AI to this part of the world. Some day ...

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Ironic that you'd like to come to this part of the world, when a whole bunch of people from this part of the world head down to where you are at this time of year. There's light snow falling here this morning, it's very pretty, but it's probably a bit cooler here than where you are! :)

I've always thought about using the roller furling sail system on some sort of ice boat... but I'm not an engineer... I'm not sure I want to get up to high speeds in anything that I was involved in building.

:D

More than one way to have fun on the ice. The kitewing craze has thrill seekers flying these handheld wings on skates, skis, snowboards, surfboards, bikes, 2"x4"s,.. you name it.

That's crazy! You can get going pretty quickly on ice with a sail. I think I'd want something more than skates!
