Plays in the forum post after a short moment... of course we have a SMOKIN internet connection here (we are getting over 60 Mbps download / 10ms ping today). Not sure how long it takes to appear on slower connections. Vimeo videos are larger format that YouTube typically.

or try: http://vimeo.com/58710283

@ 1:18 = ouch. But look at 'em just get right back in the game.
Huh, that was posted by Lynn, Hobie Fleet 95 CMDR, met her Friday nite at the Seattle Boat Show.

Trying to figure out what Event some of that footage is from. There is a whole lot of Boats with the same Sail pattern, and #'s on the Jib ,like it is from a Worlds or European Championship.Sail #'s do not match with either.

Titled: Segeln... German for Sailing

The video was posted by "Tim Michaelis" on Catamaran Racing News yesterday.

Googled... Hobie Racer living in Germany. In the Top 20, crew from Fiji Worlds.

The footage is most certainly several Euro events.

It's a good study on different tiller hands. The barefoot skipper is smooth, and fast. Otherwise a LOT of steering. Excess steering is slow on a cat. Smooth is fast, even when you need to change heading. Every joggle of the tiller looses speed, and then you have to get it back.
