We've been going out regularly this year, but haven't found a lot of fish that were willing to eat. That finally changed this past Saturday. Came upon a small flat, and we were casting lures along the grass edges on a falling tide. I spotted a quiet area out of the current, and pitched the Z-man lure up in it and made a slow retrieve - thump!! It was on!

There were reds everywhere...I caught four, with the biggest around 25". A great day on the water, and one of my best days for redfish in the kayak...

Here's a clip:

Nice!
I've never caught redfish before, its on my bucket list. Hoping to cross it off the list this year. Also good to see the whole kayak layout, do you find that camera mount gives a good filming angle?

Got the idea from "usafeod509" and his Outback - he has his off to the side like that and I like the angle.

Using that monopod camera mount like the one on palmettokayakfishing.com, except I've got a ram ball and mount for the camera, so I can adjust the angle.

Our winter has been nice enough I am fishing 1 or 2 days a week and catching a few fish.
Looks like you have a great place to play.

Thank you for sharing the action. I am soooo ready to get back out there. Can't wait. Hoping for some good weather this weekend. We will have to wait and see...!
