From the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a small chinook salmon, caught on a 2 oz jig in 20 feet of water (kelp bed) from my Adventure. A rare sunny day in the Strait!!!

Nice fish kallitype--i'm hoping to do the same on Sunday in the Gulf islands. Nothing beats those winter springs for eating--well...maybe sockeye comes close.
