Wondering if any one has installed an H-bar on their PA12 and if so, would like some thoughts on the fit. I am about 5'10" and placed the bow mounts for my H-bar far enough forward that when folded down, the top of the bar almost intrudes into the bow carrying handle area. Even with that, I had to place the rear mounts at the extreme rear of the mounting plates to get the top of the bar anywhere near belt level when in use. Still hits me a little higher than I would like but have virtually no more room to move the rear mounts back any further. Almost seems like a PA12 specific H-bar is needed. Any feedback would be appreciated as always. :D

Stand up bars include two sets of struts (since last Spring)... did you get a shorter set with your's?

No sir. I was not aware of that. I had a hard time even finding an h-bar and ended up buying a "floor model" from Idaho water sports. My bad for being in a rush. Is it possible to buy a set of the shorter posts?

Approximately how much shorter are the alternate struts? I'm sure I can modify my existing set. Thanks for any help. Much appreciated.

If you would consider modification... simply determine the best length from your existing mount locations I'd think.

Choose the desired height and cut the tube to length.

I will return with a strut length... have to research that.
