Hi,

I will pick up a used H16 this weekend with no trailer. I am looking for a used trailer able to carry the H16 safely on the road.
I am living in West Islip- NY Southshore Long Island.
Anybody in the forum has a trailer for sale?

Thanks

Oliver

Do you know any one who welds? Brain storm with them and go from there. A Case of beer and a bottle of rum go a long way. I was in the same position when I bought my cat last summer I luckely know how to weld. It was real simple to figure out. Ipicked up a trailer for like 200 $ from some poor soul that failed to read his chart and turned his boat into an artifical reef in the Delaware bay. Then four pices of 2"x3"x1/8"x4' angle iron for some thing to bolt two 2"x10"x14' planks. 2 10"rollers to make it easy to get the boat up onto the thing by my self. I chose not to let the boat sit on rollers for the legnth of thr hulls but just rest on the planks as not to facilitate brusees where the hull(s) would rest only on the rollers.
A few eye bolts and rachet straps to hold the boat down while doing 65mph and I'm pretty much set. one thing that Idid not get to do last year was build a litter box just a box that would sit below and in the middle of the trailer for gear. It's nor really a hard project and if i lived any closer I'd come up and help you for a weekend and help you out
