I'm having issues with my Arriba Hiking Stick sticking going out or in. Anybody else had this problem and been able to resolve it? There is no noticeable wear that could be causing this inside the tube that I see.

There is a grease used on road/mountain bikes with carbon seat post. Not sure if this would help

Wingnut - I don't have an Arriba hiking stick, but if it's similar to my telescoping hiking stick there should be a small hole near the bottom so that when the stick is extended it lets air in and doesn't create a vacuum. I had a similar problem years ago. Try submerging the end with that small hole in a lake or a pail of water and extend it and then expell the water several times. You say there is no noticeable wear, so maybe cleaning the inside parts will solve your problem. It worked for me.
Good luck.

Thanks for the help guys. I just figured out what the problem was now that the suns out today and I can see down inside the tube better. The locking grove some how got twisted completely on the other side of the tube and was causing it to grab. I was able to give it a hard twist and it got back to the right side and now works as smooth as butter. Sorry to waste everyones time with this post!
