I just replaced my PVC bunks to 3" and wanted to know if you all had a preference? My second try was hugely improved over my first ones, hopefully this time my hardware won't come off... Ill try to post pics later...

I used 2 inch on the original design because it fits the hull troughs better. It's also more flexible and conforms to the hull easier, which is what I was after when I came up with the idea.

I'm sure other sizes can be successfully employed.

Thanks for the reply Tom. I really appreciate all your videos on YouTube. I will soon be changing my trailer setup to mimic your rig to hold 2 PAs. One more question, how do you rig your bolts? Do you apply loctite? Do you do two nuts?

Nylon lock nuts. That allowed us to leave them just slightly loose in order to allow some movement of the parts and pieces due to temperature changes, loaded, unloaded, etc.
